Emote Slash Command Feature Request[ | ]

I would like to see a slash command that allow you produce an emote as a command instead of using the ** pairing.

It would start with the character's name and the list the emote action in a different color (such as orange) so it is easily distinguished from other types of messages.

So using the following command (assuming "/emote" and ":" are emote keywords):

/emote nervously straightens out her dress
or
: nervously straightens out her dress

Would display:

Marcella nervously straightens out her dress.

It would need to automatically ensure the first letter is lower case and there is only a period at the end (because you can't emote a question or exclamation, that is what speech does).

This would help with immersion.

Mood Slash Command Feature Request[ | ]

I would like to see a slash command that allows you to set a mood that appears each time you speak, someone does a /look, or an automated emote occurs.

It would modify the character's text messages only when they speak.

So using the following command (assuming "/mood" and "@" are the mood keywords):

/mood nervous
or
@ nervous

Would display:

Marcella says nervously, "I don't think Lady Chatterley is pleased with my attendance".

This would require a small table of moods that deal with any mood specific phrases which can be randomly cycled through.

This would help with immersion.

Specific Emote Command Feature Request[ | ]

I would like to see specific emotes be given their own slash commands with results dependent upon the currently selected target.

This would allow the emote to use the correct grammar for the subject of the emote.

So using the "/point" emote command for example with no target, a female target, a male target, and finally an object:

Marcella points at herself.
Marcella points at Sylvia/her.
Marcella points at Michael/him.
Marcella points at it.

It might even be a good idea to allow the emote to accept a subject:

/point table

Which would result in:

Marcella points at the table.

This would help with immersion.

Range Specific Speech[ | ]

I would like to see several slash commands that deal with the volume at which a character speaks and remembers the last volume at which they spoke.

So you would have /whisper (2m), /say (10m), /yell (50m). This would allow someone to whisper into someone's ear and not, unrealistically, have someone across the crowded ballroom be able to eavesdrop.

This would help with immersion.
